Resistance Kitchen has launched the ‘10 Pledges for Croydon’, a community-led campaign calling on every candidate standing for mayor and council to commit to the priorities of local people. The pledges reflect concerns raised across the borough and cover housing, policing accountability, mass surveillance, council divestment from genocide, and issues affecting deprived communities including PSPOs, gambling shop proliferation, public toilets, and access to free drinking water.
