Israel’s largest arms producer Elbit Systems has 16 factories in the UK supplying weapons to Israel used in genocide. Please join the letter campaign demanding criminal investigation into Elbit Systems UK. Over 500 letters have already sent, help us reach a 1000 letters. Use our simple tool – it only takes seconds.
'Backbone' Of The Genocide
Elbit Systems produces 85% of Israel’s killer drone fleet, and 85% of its land based weapons. It boasts of being the “backbone” of the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and describes its employees, which are often embeded within military units, as “civil soldiers”.
In the UK Elbit operates 16 plants that are supplying Israel weapons for the commission of genocide. They must be held accountable, hence this letter writing campaign.
Over 500 Letters Already Sent
In just a week of launching the campaign, over 500 people have already written to both Commissioner Mark Rowley of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and Chief Constable Sarah Crew of the Avon and Somerset Police Service, in whose jurisdiction Ebit’s largest UK facility is located, demanding formal criminal investigation into Elbit Systems UK and its subsidiaries for their involvement in supplying arms and military technology to Israel that are used in the crimes of genocide and other serious violations of international law. Failure to prevent such exports that facilitate these grave crimes may constitute a breach of UK criminal statutes related to complicity in international crimes.
No Reply
Disappointingly, we have so far not seen a single reply or even an acknowledgement of receipt of over 500 letters from the MPS. Avon and Somerset Police Service have, as of Friday night, acknowledged receiving the letter.
Acknowledgment Of Letter From Chief Constable Sarah Crew

Your Help Needed
We are half way there, but we really need your help for that final push to reach a 1000 letters.
Pointless?
You might feel that its pointless asking the police to investigate Elbit Systems, when we know from FOI requests and other revelations that the state, including its police force, at the highest echelons has been working closely with the Israeli embassy and Elbit Systems UK to target protestors who dare shine a light on Elbits war crimes. On the face of it, it seems like asking a system complicit in oppression to deliver justice. But its precisely because of this clamp down and vilification of direct action and protest that we need to pursue this campaign.
If they do not investigate after a 1000 people have written in, it evidences what we already know – that our democracy is broken, and validates direct action as a means to ensuring the state is held accountable for ignoring its legal obligations under international humanitarian law.
If they do open an investigation, that would be wonderful. It would reaffirm that protestors were right all along to challenge Elbit Systems UK role in the genocide in Gaza.
This campaign will also put pressure on the government to cancel a £2 billion contract its about to award Elbit Systems UK to train up to 60,000 British troops a year.
Something We Can All Do
We see the harrowing scenes on our screens of unabated slaughter in Gaza carried out with total impunity, and feel helpless as to what we can do. Well this is something simple, safe and yet useful that we can all do to challenge our country’s complicity in the genocide taking place in front of us. It only takes a few seconds to send the letter using our tool.
Please support this campaign, remember every family member can send their own letter provided they have an email address. Let’s together smash the 1000 letter target!
