#Filton10 Unjustly Imprisoned For 74 Days – Sign The Petition

On Saturday 19th October the Resistance Kitchen marked 74 day’s that 10 heroes – the #Filton10 – who tried to stop genocide in Gaza, have been unjustly imprisoned without trial.

The #Filton10 are accused of smashing Israeli drones and other armaments used to commit genocide in Gaza, valued at over one million pounds, at Israel’s main arms producer Elbit Systems new research and development hub in Bristol which was opened last year by the Israeli ambassador.

Documents obtained by Palestine Action, under the freedom of information act,  reveal that the Home Office and the Crown Prosecution Service is colluding with a foreign government – the Israeli Embassy and Israel’s main arms manufacturer Elbit Systems, to stop its own citizens in the UK from anti-genocide activism.

This disturbing interference by a foreign power has meant that the #Filton10 were rearrested under anti-terror powers and treated as terrorists. They were subjected to 7 days of constant interrogation in solitary confinement without contact with their families – illegal under any circumstance other than for terror suspects, which they weren’t as no terror charges were brought against them.

Despite not being charged with any terrorism offences,  the label “terrorist connection” has purposely been left hanging over their case so they are still treated as terrorists with judges denying them bail (imprisoning them for 15 months without being found guilty of any crime) and prisons denying them their basic rights (one of them has even been denied their right to read a book).

The families of the #Filton10 have launched a petition asking the government to stop abusing counter terror powers, and release their children on bail, and fully disclose any political and foreign  interference in the prosecution of their loved ones.
